In May 2008 I was invited by choreographer/visual artist Luis Lara Malvacias to participate in a residency at the Kitchen in New York, to work on the sound for his new dance performance “Reason without meaning”. The piece was presented May 8 – 10 2008 at the Kitchen. The piece was full of explosions, in sound and visual explosions that were projected on the stage. Besides the dancers there were several performers in the audience area with small speakers attached to their body, I made a surround sound composition for this setup.
